And the Healing Has Begun, Crown Chakra Bursts Open

I have been really faithful in chanting my new mantra for manifesting healing. The mantra that feels the most right to me is one that came to me while Don and I were in the hot tub and it is , "Lord embrace me. Lord Heal me. Lord I am healed!" I chant this when I wake up in the morning, throughout the day and also at night when I go to bed. Before I go to sleep I visualize myself surrounded and filled with white light and the healing energies from John of God dissolving my illness and making me whole and well..

This healing journey I am on is a full time job I spend all day juggling the timing of the many medications I am on, preparing green drinks and healing foods, meditating, and reading about healing modalities and the neuro plasticity of the brain. I am filling my mind with healing affirmations and pulling all of my energies into manifesting wellness.

Last week I slipped a disk in my neck and had tremendous pain in my neck, shoulder and a headache to beat all headaches. The healer I am working with said she felt that my crown chakra had burst open and that the healing Spirits from John of God had stirred things up and that was what was causing the pain. She said there was a dramatic difference in my aura.  Honestly when she said that I was in so much pain that it did not penetrate but yesterday and today something has most certainly shifted.

I went for a walk alone yesterday which is a huge accomplishment and today I actually did some sorting of items for our spring tag sale. I was on my feet for a couple of hours, bending and standing as I sorted jewelry, CD's and other small items. I felt an incredible sense of lightens as if I had lost a lot of weight and a joy I have not felt in years bubbled up from deep within me to the surface with a laugh that took my breath away. It was a stunning feeling and very arousing. Below is a painting I did that represents how I visualize my body at night when I invite the healing energies from John of God to enter me and do their work. Something amazing is happening. Healing on a much deeper level that I ever expected. I feel very excited about where this will take me!

Layers of Destruction Honoring Japan witrh Art

I created "Layers of Destruction" with many layers of my Fire and Ice painting and laid them on top of each other staggering each layer and placing it slightly off center from the layer below. I then took these stacks and joined them together in another layer flipping some of the stacks as I pieced them together.

My experience while creating this digital painting was the astounding volume of loss that the Japanese are experiencing. Loss of  loved ones, friends, family, pets, home, jobs, businesses, sense of place and self, the landscape around them, clean water and food supplies, and on and on it goes, layer after layer. So much pain and loss is hard to fathom. I have created a few paintings based on the Japan tragedy as my way of sending them love and healing energy.

Quaking Universe, for Our Brothers and Sisters in Japan

I have a slipped disk in my neck with a pinched nerve and for the last four days it has been growing increasingly painful. Today the Chiropractor worked on it and it was very painful. I am a little worried that all digital painting I have been doing on my iPad may be making it worse. So the sensible thing would be to take a break from making these paintings but I am afraid I am quite addicted to the process and the healing that comes with it for me. So anyway here are some variations on my latest crow paintings.

The painting titled Quaking Universe is of course in honor of our brothers and sisters in Japan and the devastation they are currently facing. May they feel held and safe within the energy of light and love we are all sending them. Hold them in your hearts for healing every day.

Native American Code Of Ethics

Found this  Native American code of  ethics on "Stumbled Upon" and paired it up with one of my paintings. Uunfortunately there was no author or source listed:

Native American Code Of Ethics

Rise with the sun to pray. Pray alone. Pray often.
The Great Spirit will listen, if you only speak.
~
Be tolerant of those who are lost on their path.
Ignorance, conceit, anger, jealousy and greed stem
from a lost soul. Pray that they will find guidance.
~
Search for yourself, by yourself. Do not allow others
to make your path for you. It is your road, and
yours alone. Others may walk it with you,
but no one can walk it for you.
~
Treat the guests in your home with much consideration.
Serve them the best food, give them the best
bed and treat them with respect and honor.
~
Do not take what is not yours whether from
a person, a community,the wilderness or from a
culture. It was not earned nor given. It is not yours.
~
Respect all things that are placed upon
this earth – whether it be people or plant.
~
Honor other people’s thoughts, wishes and words.
Never interrupt another or mock or rudely mimic them.
Allow each person the right to personal expression.
~
Never speak of others in a bad way. The negative
energy that you put out into the universe
will multiply when it returns to you.
~
All persons make mistakes.
And all mistakes can be forgiven.
~
Bad thoughts cause illness of the mind,
body and spirit. Practice optimism.
~
Nature is not FOR us, it is a PART of us.
They are part of your worldly family.
~
Children are the seeds of our future. Plant
love in their hearts and water them with
wisdom and life’s lessons. When they
are grown, give them space to grow.
~
Avoid hurting the hearts of others.
The poison of your pain will return to you.
~
Be truthful at all times. Honesty is the
test of one’s will within this universe.
~
Keep yourself balanced. Your Mental self, Spiritual
self, Emotional self, and Physical self – all need
to be strong, pure and healthy. Work out
the body to strengthen the mind. Grow
rich in spirit to cure emotional ails.
~
Make conscious decisions as to who
you will be and how you will react. Be
responsible for your own actions.
~
Respect the privacy and personal space of
others. Do not touch the personal property of
others – especially sacred and religious
objects. This is forbidden.
~
Be true to yourself first. You cannot
nurture and help others if you cannot
nurture and help yourself first.
~
Respect others religious beliefs.
Do not force your belief on others.
~
Share your good fortune with others.
Participate in charity.

Sacred Poetry Art with Rumi and Hafiz Quotes

I will be going in for another round of tests and out of that they are going to formulate a whole new treatment plan with more focus on the viral load ( EBV and XMRV type stuff), bio films and cell wall deficiency instead of solely focusing on only the Lyme bacteria. My Dr said she wants to be aggressive enough so that we see results noticeable results within 4 months. While I am still laid up I am continuing to create digital paintings on my ipad and I have stared a second series called Sacred Poetry as part of my Healing Visions paintings. Here are a few of the latest paintings.

Bestselling Author Offers Me a ARC of Her Book on Lyme, Memorial Painting of Pip and George

Someone sent me a letter saying that their family absolutely will not support them in their battle with NeuroLyme. The family will not even ask them how they are or acknowledged that they have the disease. I think its very sad but also a very common experience for people with Lyme. We have only 3 members of our entire family that support us in our battle with this disease. Makes me realize how important sites like Facebook are for people struggling under the weight of chronic illness. Sometimes it is the online "friends" that end up being a life line for those that are struggling with illness and pain everyday.

On a lighter note the bestselling novelist Brandilyn Collins contacted me today and offered to give me an Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) of her new Lyme novel because of all the work I have done for the Lyme community through LAAP. "Her book deals with Lyme disease, in a way that will make your jaw drop." says CLDA. Check out this video about the book. A Lyme sufferers dream of revenge on the medical community ;~) Link to Video

A friend of my lost her beloved 16 year old dachshund the other day. This is the second one she has lost this year so I did a painting on my iPad from a photo of her 2 dogs as a gift for her. So sad that we have such a short time with our fur babies.

A Few New Abstracts

Here are a few of my latest paintings. This virus has knocked my fatigue up to a level where I was unable to keep painting my images so I did a few abstracts and found that to be very relaxing and restorative. I was thinking that if my health improves enough with this current treatment plan it might be fun to print these out on fabric and add some stitching to them!
